Bismarck, North Dakota - October 3, 2006 - Brockway Moran & Partners, Inc. and Meridian Venture Partners announced that they would be relocating the corporate headquarters of Med-Trans Corporation from Bismarck, North Dakota to the Dallas, Texas area by the new year.
Fred Buttrell, Med-Trans - President and CEO stated that there were three primary factors for selecting the new headquarters home:
1. A centralized location with easy access to all of our programs provides a better interface for customer service and business development opportunities with current programs as well as future programs, all of which is critical in taking Med-Trans to the next level and growing the company.
2. Locating near Bell Helicopter headquarters will provide for Part 135 maintenance support and supply chain opportunities.
3. The Dallas metro area provides an excellent helicopter employee market for staffing, which will be a major component of growing the Med-Trans business.
Med-Trans will retain the Part 135 certificate in Tucson, Arizona, and our Director of Maintenance will be relocating to that office. Med-Trans will continue to focus on establishing partnerships with leading hospital systems, medical centers and EMS agencies to provide customized air medical programs serving their respective communities. Program safety, patient care and caring for one another has been and will continue to be of the highest importance.
There will be no changes at the local program levels. Med-Trans is very proud of the quality service that we provide, and we are convinced this strategic relocation will enhance our customer service and better support our ongoing business development initiatives.
