| Bell 407 |
The Bell 407 is fast becoming one of the most popular EMS helicopters in the nation because of its reliability and unmatched record of safety and performance. It is designed with a new litter system, state-of-the-art communications system, and a custom interior to optimize patient care. A 15 million candlepower Star Burst SX-5 lighting unit ensures safe ingress and egress from nighttime landing zones.
The helicopters are generally equipped with the following: oxygen, 110 volt AC inverters, ventilators, pulse oximeter, suction systems, defibrillator, external pacemakers, non-invasive pressure monitors, doppler and various splinting and spinal immobilization devices. The strecher can be replaced with an isolette to transport neonatal or pediatric requiring use of such specialized equipment.
Our helicopters receive a daily inspection in addition to the scheduled 50 hour, 100 hour, and annual maintenance inspections. Our professional, licensed helicopter mechanics are responsible for keeping the aircraft ready for flight. |
